Boho books and more

I have a thing for books! Although I can't live without my Kindle anymore, nothing beats the feel and smell of a big, beautiful glossy book. Especially those big chunky bohemian inspirational books that feed my head with new ideas. I've made a list of my favorites from boho decor to wanderlust travel books that shouldn't be missing on your coffee table.

  • The New Bohemians by Justina Blakeney

I am a great admirer of this LA-based designer. Her Instagram pics are an absolute dream and this book is just as beautiful. The New Bohemians features about 20 homes filled with unique home inspiration and interview with the owners. All in eye popping colors. Must have!

  • Gypset Travel

Travel writer Julia Chaplin explores the little-known enclaves of gypsy jet-setters around the world. From the Aeolian Islands in Italy to Lamu, Kenya; North Goa and India. The book gives you a glimpse into the glamorous yet casual lifestyle of these bohemian wanderers.

  • Gypset Living

Another book by Julia Chaplin. In this book she brings you to the home of gypsy jet setters all over the world. A fascinating look at the dazzling home of designers and bohemian.

  • Gypset Style

Wanderlust meets sophistication. If you love the books of Gypset you must complete your collection with this one.

  • Spell Book by Spell

Spell and the Gypsy collective. If you are a fan of the Spell brand this book shouldn't be missing in your collection.  This hard cover coffee table book features the story of the Spell sisters and a loads of beautiful outfit pictures of course.

  • Wake up & Dream journal

Not really a book, but one of my favorite notebooks I take everywhere. Made from recycled book covers these journal all come with an unique print, color and soulful quotes. I am the proud owner of 3 now and just keep on collecting.

  • Disfunkshion Mag

If you like boho you probably already have an issue on your coffee table. Disfunkshion is a magazine devoted to boho and gypsy style. They work with great artist from all over the globe and search for the best in bohemian and hippie looks. The magazine only appears 3 times a year which is way too little! If you are from outside the US you can also subscribe to the digital version of Disfunkshion Mag.
