About Boho Wedding Hairstyles
This is the week of love and I can't wait to share more boho bridal styles with you! This blog is gonna be all about wedding hair. Whether you are going for loose curls with a flower crown or a braided fishtail on the side just make sure to have a “hair-rehearsal” before your big day.
It's very important for a hair- or braid stylist to feel your hair and to look at your hair possibilities. You don't want your carefully styled hair to look like a hangover at the end of your ceremony. Here are some of my favorite boho hairstyles.
FLOWER CROWN WITH LOOSE CURLS
No boho wedding can be complete without a flower crown made from seasonal flowers. If you are going for a boho hairstyle this is what most brides have in mind. Wearing your hair with loose curls is perfect if you are going for a more covered or long sleeved dress. Make sure your flower crown is made fresh maximum one day before your wedding. Part your hair in the middle and use a lot of hairspray to guarantee your style will last the entire day.
FISHTAIL ON THE SIDE
For a more sophisticated look go for a braided fishtail. It will give you a chic and unique hairstyle that will give you that romantic vibe. If you are not good at braiding like me ask a braid-stylist to look after your hair. You want to look perfect on your wedding day and a boho fishtail can be a tricky one to do perfect. As for all the hairstyles on this photo shoot my hair was done by braid stylist Love2Braid. Add a flower from your bouquet for an extra touch of color.
If you are wearing an off shoulder dress this look is perfect for you. The crown braid is one of the biggest trends right now for weddings and it will give you that royal look. Like the fishtail ask a professional to do this one for you. If your hair is not long enough consider wearing some extensions or a flip-in for your special day. My own hair is shoulder length but I am wearing a specially designed hair piece to give my hair that extra kick.
HEADPIECES WITH BRAIDS
If you want a more boho chic look try to add a tiara to your hair. It will give you that extra sparkle and glitz. Tiaras come in many different shapes and sizes, but if you are going for a boho look keep it small. The tiara should fit your head perfectly and look like another piece of jewelry without standing out to much. Ask your stylist to add a little crown braid underneath it for some extra support.
I hope I inspired you to try out some new hairstyles for your upcoming wedding! Even if you are not getting married these hairstyles are perfect for every boho girl on any given day. Getting married can be quite stressful so just surround yourself with the best people to take away some of your wedding stress and let you enjoy your special day more. But most of all don't forget that at the end of the day it's all about the man or woman you are going to spend your life with.
